1. What is Flexible Independent Living?
We provide safe, affordable, and structured shared housing for self-sufficient individuals, including veterans and low-income or displaced individuals as well as seniors.
2. Is this a rental lease or a housing program?
This is not a traditional rental lease. We use a month-to-month housing agreement with structured house rules instead of long-term leases.
3. Do residents have private rooms?
No, this is a shared housing arrangement. Residents will have a roommate in a shared bedroom unless otherwise pre-arranged.
4. What is required to move in?
Applicants must complete an application, meet program criteria, and agree to our house rules. All documents must be completed in person.
5. How much does it cost?
Monthly costs vary based on location, but rent includes utilities and property maintenance. Contact us for your specific individualized monthly pricing.
6. Are meals or personal assistance provided?
No, residents must be fully self-sufficient. We do not provide meals, transportation, or medical care.
7. How long can I stay?
Residents can stay as long as they follow house rules and pay rent. Our agreements are reviewed on a month-to-month basis.
8. What happens if a resident breaks the rules?
Violation of house rules may result in removal from the program. We enforce strict guidelines to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
